Nick Hewer has been announced as a patron of the Fairtrade Foundation, joining fellow patrons actor Adjoa Andoh and presenter Allegra McEvedy in helping 'boost public support' for the organisation.

The Countdown host is speaking at Fairtrade’s business conference as part of the partnership, and commented 'I am delighted to take on the role of joint patron at the Fairtrade Foundation during a period of great change and opportunity, when Fairtrade has never been more important or relevant'.
